Regeneración, 4 de abril del 2015. The New Yorker, realizó este video en el cual se hace un recorrido de los diversos acontecimientos y denuncias generadas en torno a la desaparición de los 43 normalistas de Ayotzinapa.

Se trata de un documento que retrata los espacios físicos de Guerrero, la voz propia de los familiares de los estudiantes desaparecidos.
En Guerrero, un monstruo en las montañas, se alude al hecho de que personas de todo el orbe se siguen haciendo la misma pregunta que la sociedad mexicana ¿dónde están?
Extraordinaria factura, con un guión que no busca efectos sino presentar con su geografía original y en voz de los protagonistas una de las tragedias de derechos humanos en México, que han generado incluso que el gobierno mexicano desautorice la opinión de expertos de Naciones Unidas sobre la tortura en México.
Este tipo de documentos no son posibles sin la persistente opinión pública norteamericana y en especial de la ciudad de Nueva York que se ha movilizado todos estos meses y ha mantenido la atención del público sobre esta tragedia mexicana.
On September 26, 2014, forty-three students from the Ayotzinapa Normal School went missing in the town of Iguala, in Guerrero, one of Mexico’s poorest and most violent states. Six months later, only one student’s remains have been identified, and Guerrero’s indigenous communities are struggling to protect themselves against the rampant crime and impunity in their state.
