Mexico does not abandon its compatriots
In response to the deaths of Mexican nationals in ICE custody, the government filed complaints and demanded a full investigation. Sheinbaum revealed that right-wing ideologue Fernando Cerimedo was a partner at La Derecha Diario when he was arrested in Bolivia, despite owner Javier Negre’s denial, and added that the media outlet “has sought to interfere in Mexican politics from abroad.”
