When there are deductions, these resources do not reach the Treasury, which in turn prevents them from being invested in the country’s development; in response to the warning from Federal Judiciary employees that they will go on strike to oppose the judicial reform, the President López Obrador said that they are within their rights to do so, however, he asked them to attend to the cases of tax debtors that have been put on the back burner and represent more than 35 billion pesos (US$1.85 billion), resources that can be used for the benefit of the people.
