He indicated that the bill might experience modifications in view of the discussion, however, the only thing that must be respected in the proposal is the popular election of judges and justices; after his meeting with businessmen Carlos Slim, the President López Obrador emphasized that the magnate knows that Mexico's economy is strong and indicated he does not share the nervousness displayed by the markets in response to Claudia Sheinbaum's election as president and the possible approval of the Judicial Branch reform.

Highlights of this morning’s presidential press conference include: AMLO explained that one of the main reasons why the people of Mexico support the transformation movement is because they realized that corruption prevented prosperity from being shared, and that public funds always wound up in the hands of the upper echelons; the state companies belonging to the people are no longer given away to those close to the circles of power, President López Obrador said, recalling that the practices of ex-President Carlos Salinas; today, the President will evaluate the reconstruction program in Acapulco, Guerrero, and will make a complete review of the aid delivered to the families affected by Hurricane Otis; the Youth Building the Future program will benefit over 274,000 young people in 2024. Youth who had no opportunities for work or study are provided employment as an apprentice; from June 12 to July 4, the Tianguis del Bienestar fair will be held in 17 municipalities in Tamaulipas.
